Business problem:
The Mandate was to undertake transformation exercise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the organization by doing BPR, Capacity Planning, system evaluation and implementation.
Design Target Operating Model, Design workflow structure including the technical architecture and identify Non-Value-Added activities
Identify technology solution (LOS & LMS ) for complex structured loan products for Project Finance, Loan against securities, infrastructure and development financing, commercial real estate financing etc.
Solution Approach:
End to End AS IS process walk through and detailed process mapping
Capture each hand off, duplication, manual processing, capturing approx. cycle time of activities (for effort estimation), Current Measurement and performance
Data Analysis, GAP Analysis, Variation Analysis, Causes for performance Inhibitors
Utilize Learning from AS IS technical Architecture and areas to improve with minimum disruption and change
Incorporate Recommendations in AS IS scenario and create TO BE process
Developing complex loan scenarios including cash flows, preparing BRD for structured loan products, Designing system integration and data migration strategy
Technology Solution evaluation, Solution workshop and vendor selection
Key Outcome and benefits:
New Operating Model which lead to 60% improvement in sales team productivity and re-deployment of around 50% of existing operations staff
Finalizing a technology solution which will be able to meet 85% of business requirement
Designed and documented TO BE Processes and building a process repository
